Indeed, it was the salt workers, who worked for several months of the year with their legs immersed in the mud and water of the saltpans, who discovered the therapeutic properties of the mud, which could disinfect their wounds and soothe their pain.
The mud extracted from the saltpans is excellent for treating arthrosis, rheumatism, limb rehabilitation, sciatica, gout and certain skin diseases such as psoriasis.
